Aftercare Reminders
-
Avoid Makeup for at least 24 hrs
No Actives for at least 72 hrs (retinols etc)
Avoid Spray Tanning for at least 24 hrs
Avoid Exfoliants for 7 days
Avoid Direct Sunlight for 7 days after treatment
Use SPF
Avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot tubs for 7 days
Avoid Chlorine for at least 7 days
Aftercare/advice specific to your treatment will be given after your appointment at the salon.

Take shorter, cooler showers instead of long, hot ones.
Avoid strong soaps that can strip your tan.
Pat yourself dry instead of rubbing your skin.
Moisturize daily to extend the longevity of your tan, but avoid oil-based moisturizers.

Rinse your piercing with saline solution 2-3 times a day
Remove ‘crusties’ when cleaning. Do not use cotton wool or ear buds
Dry or air dry after cleaning
Wash your hands before cleaning
Avoid swimming for at least 4 weeks after piercing
Do not sleep on the side of your piercing until fully healed
Avoid touching and twisting your piercing
Do not change piercing until at least 6-8 weeks after treatment.

Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds.
Use a broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen daily.
Avoid heat treatments like spas, steam rooms, and saunas.
Minimize scrubbing or applying pressure to the treated skin.
Apply ice packs or cool compresses to reduce pain and swelling.
